| 1. What is "Visa on arrival"? |
|
The visa on arrival means an obtainment of visa at a point of entry to a nation you are visiting, whether it be an airport, border checkpoint or port. Currently, Vietnam visa on arrival is available for arrival via air at international airports only so if you are planning to enter Vietnam by land, you need to obtain Vietnam visa beforehand.
To get Vietnam visa on arrival, you need to have your paperwork, locally called visa approval letter, arranged through a visa service or travel agency. This visa approval letter usually written in both Vietnamese and English, is showing such passport holder who has pre-arranged for a visa on arrival at airports and is allowed to enter tting this visa approval letter in hand, you are officially permitted by Vietnam Immigration D/ exit Vietnam one time or more depending on visa application at indicated frame time. The visa on arrival process is rather simple and fast. | 3. What is the process of "visa on arrival"?

You bring along the copy of this visa approval letter plus 2 photos of passport size (2in x 2in, or 5.08 cm x 5.08 cm) for visa on arrival and board your flight to Vietnam. | 4. Is "visa on arrival" legitimate ? |

| 5. How long does it take to get "visa approval letter" ?

The visa approval letter will normally be issued within three business days (except Saturday, Sunday and National Holidays). In urgent case, the visa approval letter can be arranged within 24 working hours at small additional fee. |
| 6. What is required information to apply for "visa on arrival" ? |
Generally, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months prior to the exit date from Vietnam. Therefore, you need to check your validity of your passport and renew it before applying for Vietnam visa if your passport nearly expires. The personal data including your full name mentioned in passport, gender, date of birth, nationality, arrival date, passport number and expiry date of passport, is required at the time you apply for Vietnam visa on arrival. | 7. Should I provide you with exact date of arrival?

The tentative arrival date is required for visa application. Within the permitted stay term mentioned at your visa approval letter, you can enter and depart any date at your convenience.

| 8. How long in advance should I apply for a visa?
|
The suggestion is 1 – 2 weeks in advance to avoid urgent fee and unwanted problems. You can also apply for visa at last minute since it just takes 2-3 business days to arrange your visa approval. |
| 9. Do I need single entry or multiple entry visa ?
|
The single entry visa allows you to enter/ exit Vietnam one time only, therefore it is also called visa with single use. Holding this single entry visa, you are permitted to enter Vietnam one time only and stay for less than 30 days. You can not re-enter Vietnam if you exit Vietnam after few days of stay, although your visa is still valid for 30 days. Therefore, if you want to come back Vietnam again, you must apply for a new visa.
The multiple entry visa allows you to enter / exit Vietnam unlimited times during the valid length of stay mentioned in your visa. The multiple entry visa can be obtained at Vietnam Embassy and Consulates or upon arrival at international airports and has the same validity despite the obtainment way. Holding this multiple entry visa, you can exit and re-enter Vietnam at any international border gates you are planning on your vacation. This multiple entry visa provides you more options for entry and exit point , vacation or business purposes since you can stay in Vietnam for few days, travel overland or air to different countries and re-enter Vietnam with your multiple entry visa if your visa is still valid.
In conclusion, you are suggested to apply for multiple entry visa if you need to enter/exit Vietnam many times in such period.

| 10. What is fee of visa approval letter and payment? |
According to the Immigration Law of Vietnam, if you do not have visa on your passport or any paperwork, locally called visa approval letter, showing your pre-arrangement of visa on arrival at airport, you cannot enter Vietnam and may be forced to fly back to your country of origin. To help you obtain Vietnam visa with hassle free, we can arrange the visa approval letter for you. However , you are required to pay us small amount of money for our processing service. The processing service fee is usually quoted based on number of applicant, visa type and term of application.
You can pay the processing fee by bank transfer and credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Diners Club. | 11. What is the stamp fee for "visa on arrival" ? |
The visa stamp fee is a mount of money you are required to pay at the time of getting your visa on arrival at airport. According to the local payment regulation, you need prepare enough US cash or Vietnamese Dong (local currency) for visa stamp fee at airport because you can not pay it by credit card or currencies different from the ones mentioned above. Actually, it is no ATM inside the immigration area.
The visa stamp fee varies depending on your visa type and stay duration. The estimate amount is US$ 25 for single entry visa with one month stay, US$ 50 for multiple entry visa and US$ 100 for one year multiple entry visa.
